Commercial register (Handelsregister)

The Operator carries out its activity as a Swiss Einzelunternehmen (sole proprietorship) and is not registered in the Swiss Commercial Register (Handelsregister), pursuant to Art. 36 of the Swiss Commercial Register Ordinance (HRegV) — registration becomes mandatory only once the annual turnover reaches CHF 100'000.

VAT / MWST

The Operator is not registered for Swiss VAT (MWST), pursuant to Art. 10 para. 2 lit. a of the Swiss Value Added Tax Act (VAT Act), as the annual turnover is below the legal threshold of CHF 100'000, and adds no VAT of its own to the listed price. Purchases are made from Stripe as merchant of record, which calculates and remits any VAT or sales tax due in the customer’s country and shows the final total before the payment is confirmed.

Jurisdiction and applicable law

The Operator’s seat is in Switzerland. The activity is governed by Swiss law (Obligationenrecht / Code des obligations). For consumer customers resident in the EU, mandatory consumer-protection provisions of their state of residence remain applicable.

Dispute resolution (EU customers)

The European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025 and has no replacement. Consumer customers resident in the EU may approach a consumer dispute resolution body in their own country; the Commission’s official list is at consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu/dispute-resolution-bodies. The Operator is neither obliged nor willing to participate in any alternative dispute resolution procedure before a consumer arbitration body.
